Being able to work on Prison Architect 2 offered me the exiting opportunity to contribute to its development where I improved my animating skills & was introduced to agile workflow. This involved weekly sprints, daily standups & task tracking with Jira. For all of the source control in the project, I utilised Perforce, SVN and GitHub to aid me with this trunk-based development.
My role within the team was to polish & create combat animations as well as implementing them into the Unity engine.
Collaboration with developers was crucial, as the project worked on a proprietary animation system alongside Unity's native tools. This close teamwork ensured smooth implementation and functionality of the animations within the game.
